PRINTS

Is it interesting for you guys if I post things that I do at school (other than the garments I’ve sewn)? Or is it boring?
We’ll try it once in a while! I bet some of you read my blog because you’re curios about Parsons, or about going to a fashion school in general :)
But, hey I’ll do an outfit post soon.
_
You’ve seen these sketches before, but yeah, this is a project we started on a while ago in our visual communication, digital class. In these classes we learn basically everything you need to know about illustrator and photoshop. Our projects are about making presentations like this, and then we just take it from there. I love playing around in photoshop so I like this class a lot!
_
For the project shown, the theme was to make prints: plaids, stripes, and a motif for our collection. I’m not a big fan of prints so eh, they’re not all that. But it’s more about the overall layout etc. so in that case I’m satisfied!

I love the school-related posts! It's so interesting to hear what kind of work you do! Looking forward to seeing you become a world-renowned fashion designer one day. http://floralics.blogspot.com

I love your school-work related posts, keep them coming! Outfit posts are nice too, but these are super interesting! As a kid, I wanted to do fashion design (or air stewardess, dermatologist, dentist..haha) so this is really interesting to me. I love fashion but I don't think I have innovative ideas for clothing design..so I just appreciate haha! Although right now I'm at school for make up artistry..go figure. Love how you did the prints your way - muted, sexy and modern :) Especially the origami - that is just genius!

I love seeing your 'school work'. I always wanted to study in Parsons, but I cant afford it, so at least I can watch your studies ;P
Martina- 26 November, 2012 at 18:54
I would definitely like to see more posts like this - I always wondered what fashion school was like (REALLY like.. not Project Runway-ish ;). I love your sketches!! xx

Hey, I love seeing your 'Parsons' development its really exciting to see how your doing! My days of uni seem long gone, but honestly it was the best time, although often hardwork. Nothing like the industry though lol Keep up the good work! & keep posting about the course for sure :) http://daniellejadewindsor.blogspot.co.uk/

It's not boring at all! I think it's so cool to see, what you do and how you do it. I go to a fashion school in Denmark, so i love this post from you. You are one of the most inspiring bloggers :)

I love it when you post things like this! It's so interesting to see what you learn in Parsons. I wish my school had put more emphasis onto illustrator and photoshop. This is clean, neat and beautiful!
