I mentioned five favourites from Esmod’s graduation show in this post, but I must say that Elin Tveitan is on the top of my list!

The name of the collection, skin, is represented by the use of natural and artifical materials to recreate just this – skintextures.
I am fascinated by her use of studs, which I thought I was tired of, but she proved me wrong.
By colouring them bright white and attaching them to a garment in the same colour, you forget the typical punk association most people will be reminded of.
Yes, it’s exaggerated and like the skin of a reptile, but then again, with it’s monochrome look it appears somewhat minimal and clean.
I hope (and know) I will see more from her in the future!
